Congratulations to Debbie who lost the most weight during February - a total of 6 lbs!

Others who did well were Michael who lost 4 3/4 lbs, and Katy who lost 5 lbs - a very close contest!

The service users seem to be doing much better than the staff this year.

Well Done to the Gym Crew

Congratulations to all of those who managed to fit in at least 6 sessions at the Gym with Damon and Donna. As always, they were rewarded this week with a meal out together.

Keep up the good work, Dan, Katy, Zoe, Billy, Peter, Debbie P, Debbie H and Kevin.

Other Recent Events

In January we had a trip down the Grand Union Canal on a narrow boat belonging to the Waterways experience. It was  a lovely leisurely trip, and as it was a cold day, everyone stayed inside in the warm to enjoy the views.

One of the good things about the boats from Waterways Experience is that they are wheelchair accessible, so service users with mobility difficulties are also able to go and join in the fun.

We also had a visit from a variety of animals. Lots of us were scared of snakes and spiders, but we were surprised how nice they really were!

For the past few months we have been working with the Health Liaison Team on a performance to reinforce messages about healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle. We helped to write the play, entitled “A Time Traveller’s Take Out Tale”. We have performed it twice at the centre, and are now taking it on tour to other day services.

In February we took a minibus and went to the RAF Museum in North London. We had a guided tour and everyone found it very interesting.
